Hello and welcome! Please read the following rules before joining and engaging.

  1. Respect other members. This is a no-brainer. No harassment, no personal attacks, no nonsense.
  2. Be a decent human. Obviously, the subject matter at hand is sensitive. People victimized by crime are (or were) real, full human beings. Extend them the same empathy you would a friend, a classmate, or a neighbor.
  3. Relatedly, absolutely no bigotry. No racism, sexism, anti-semitism, islamophobia, homophobia, transphobia, etc.
  4. Also related to #2, no glorification of criminals or their violence. If you're a "fangirl" of a serial killer, this is not the place for you. Keep it to yourself.
  5. Promotions are allowed, within reason. Keep it to once a week or so. The primary focus of this community is discussion.
  6. Please tag your posts appropriately. It makes reference that much easier!
